During this Maths lesson, Year 4 students were learning how to divide without leaving a remainder. Interlocking cubes and popsicle sticks were used for hands on resources. As one can see in the photos, the cubes represent oranges for one example and the popsicle sticks represent sandwiches which were divided into groups of 3 in one plate.
Learners also had to find how many triangles one can make with 51 sticks, thus the learners created their own triangles and counted how many they created.
