Today, 24th March 2021, the school in collaboration with the Science Section organised a virtual tiny Teen Science Cafe’. Our Year 5 and Year 6 classes participated in this experience related to careers involving STEM subjects. The activity started with a Parents’ Talk – STEM from the START. This session was followed by 4, 20-minute workshops delivered by 4 STEM professionals.
The 4 professionals shared their expertise with the students through a short introductory activity. Each professional delivered an interesting session about their working experience; Mr. Debono came from the Aviation industry, Ms. Farrugia who is a librarian, Ms. Mason came from Shark Lab and Mr. Vella came from the Maritime Industry.
The students actively participated in each session with the opportunity of questions and answers. Thanks to the professionals who enthusiastically delivered the sessions, it was an amazing learning opportunity for everyone.
