Ms. Marisa with the help of Ms. Andrea and Ms. Denise made the activity on 15.03.2021 as part of X’HemM? Għal Dinja Aħjar possible. Further to a number of activities spread over three weeks the students had the opportunity of an online activity related to the work that has been completed in class.
During the online session, the students reviewed the difference between the human being and the robot-like: eating habits. Reference was again made to the different robots that students know about and exist: The robot that helps people clean the house, the robot that helps clean the sea.
Together they recounted the various activities done in class; those of building a recycled robot, creating a robot with tangrams. The students themselves spoke about how they created their own robots through photos in powerpoint.
The teacher embarked on a new activity using the Engino. This was possible through a set of digital tools purchased by the school to invest in STEM education. This encouraged students to develop creativity, collaboration, imagination together with their cognitive, social and motor skills through fun and creative play.
Finally, the students used their creativity and created a robot of their own capturing memories and using them to create their own robot at home.
